What this pilot does
ShortPilot Studio creates vertical videos from authorized uploads or original story prompts. Google sign-in or email/password sign-in identifies your workspace through a secure server session. A separate Google authorization connects your own YouTube channel. This is an independent pilot and is not endorsed by Google or YouTube.
Data we store
We store your site-scoped account identifier, project prompts, titles, publishing preferences, input footage, rendered videos, channel ID, channel name and encrypted Google refresh token. Google authentication uses the platform Google Web OAuth client. Email accounts store an email address and a salted password hash protected with a server secret; passwords are never stored in plain text. Profile names, bios and watermark preferences are stored in D1. Email addresses for password accounts are not currently verified, and password-reset emails are not available. Google and email accounts remain separate; matching email addresses do not link workspaces. Hashed login-attempt identifiers are retained temporarily to limit abuse. Session cookies are HttpOnly and Secure, and tokens are stored as hashes. YouTube passwords are never collected. Tokens stay on the server and are not sent to the rendering PC.
How processing works
Cloud storage holds private source and output files. An operator-managed Windows computer downloads footage to render it with FFmpeg, Whisper and Ollama, then uploads the result. Local working files are deleted after processing. The operator can access processing files for support; do not upload sensitive or confidential material. No paid generative API is used by the rendering pipeline.
YouTube access and publishing
We request YouTube upload access to publish videos and read-only access to identify your channel. Google user data is used only to provide these features; it is not sold, used for advertising or used to train generalized AI models. Use of Google API information follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements. You approve a video before publishing unless you explicitly enable automatic publishing for that project. You control video titles, descriptions, audience and visibility.
Disconnect and delete
Disconnect your channel in Channels to revoke the stored Google grant and disable queued automatic uploads. You can also revoke access at Google Account permissions. In Automation, “Delete my workspace data” removes source videos, renders, records and authorization. This does not delete videos already on YouTube; manage them in YouTube Studio. Records otherwise remain until you delete them. Hosting backup retention may apply. Signing out of your platform session does not delete your workspace.
Rights and acceptable use
Upload only footage, audio and text you own or have permission to use. Editing a competitor’s video does not clear copyright. You are responsible for reviewing generated output, securing rights, accurate disclosures and following YouTube Terms of Service and Google’s Privacy Policy. Copyright-free outcomes, monetization, reach and uninterrupted service are not guaranteed. The pilot has daily limits and depends on available rendering capacity. Misuse may result in suspended processing.
Support
For data removal, use the in-app deletion control. For other issues, contact the platform operator who invited you to this pilot. Public Google verification requires the operator to add a monitored support address and complete Google’s review before general channel connections are offered.
